Legal Resources
Quaqua posts legal resource links for alternative educators and advocates of parental liberty. The Society also provides some very basic legal information, including a historical explanation of core liberties such as the "fundamental" right to direct the upbringing of one's child (Parental Liberty Doctrine). We do not list every available organization, resource, legal authority, or note of scholarly documentation. Instead, the collections of links are designed to serve as a convenient starting point for those who are seeking additional information about laws relevant to the alternative-education community. In particular, it is hoped this public service will afford scholars and attorneys better and more affordable access to important source materials about alternative education.
